At Galen Medical Communications, I believe clear writing reflects clear thinking. Equally important to a scientist's professional success is persuasive writing. This is writing beyond just a summary and analysis of facts. Persuasive medical writing acknowledges our common humanity. Its rhetorical tools can be used to build a foundation of scientific understanding among scientists, and bridges between credentialed experts and lay people who seek to understand science and each other.

Charles earned his MA, English-Technical Communication degree from the University of Central Florida (UCF).
Charles is a contracted medical writer/editor for faculty-researchers at the University of Central Florida’s College of Medicine, and at Florida International University’s (FIU) College of Medicine where he edits research manuscripts. He also edits grant proposals, book chapters, literature reviews, CME content, and annual reports.
And Charles is a technical writer for a global life science software company's medical affairs division.
He is a member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA)
